I have a nice LAMP install of Debian Etch. I have been reading lately about SuPHP and trying to figure it out. Is it possible to install SuPHP on an already established server? If so, can I follow this howto? Since the howto is not concerning a specific install, what would I need to do to ISPConfig after the howto? Thanks.

(Note: I meant to post this to the ISPConfig forum. Can the mods move this for me? Thanks.)

    Yes.

Yes, at least parts of it. Of course you don't need to install Apache again because it's installed already. :)

Thanks for the reply. You stated,
Other than Apache which you mentioned, is there any other documentation or something mentioned in the forums that I should be aware of before starting the process of installing suPHP?

There are some threads about suphp in the forums. Enter suphp in the forum serach field and you will get a list of them.

Ok, so I enabled suPHP in the config file and tried to restart apache and received the following error: "Syntax error on line 54 of /etc/apache2/vhosts/Vhosts_ispconfig.conf:
Invalid command 'php_admin_flag', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration
    failed!" What am I missing?

    Nevermind.....got it.
