Hello, I did read the ISPConfig Roadmap for 2025 and that looks great! Thank you very much for these great upgrades that are coming our way ISPConfig Roadmap for 2025 https://forum.howtoforge.com/threads/ispconfig-roadmap-for-2025.93555/ https://www.ispconfig.org/blog/ispc...icial-almalinux-rocky-linux-support-and-more/ I would like to request to support Oracle Linux 9 too, besides AlmaLinux 9 en Rocky Linux 9. The Oracle Linux website is here: https://www.oracle.com/linux/ There's also a script to transition from CentOS to Oracle Linux: https://linux.oracle.com/switch/centos/
Sure, I can look into that as well. As long as all packages are available for Oracle Linux too, then it should work without modifications.
Since Oracle Linux is ABI compatible with RHEL/CentOS Stream the packages from third-party repos like EPEL and Remi should work also on Oracle Linux. The ISPConfig Installer and Updater is also already compatible with EL8 and EL9. The only thing that comes to my mind is when the admin decides to use BTRFS (or other fancy filesystems) with Oracle Linux which is not supported by ISPConfig. Do we need to check for the underlying type of filesystem? I'm not sure if XFS is fully supported, mainly in regards of the quota functionality.
