So in a big fiasco i rebuilt my server with Suse9.3 and the latest ISPconfig. During the Suse9.3 install i DID NOT do any os updates that it asked to do. so right now the machine is running and hosting great.

The question is can i run the SUSE9.3 updater and let it update SUSE9.3 with out it killing/effecting ISPCONFIG?? is there anything i should look out for/know??

    Thanks!

Normally this should work without problems, unless yast changes configuration files which it should not do.

    Thanks Falco,
If YAST changes configuration files, what is the remidy? re-runing the ISPConfig install processess?

No, make a backup of all important config files (Apache configuration, Postfix configuration, etc.) before you update the packages. If yast changes the configuration files (I don't think so), you can restore them from your backup.
