Hello. My server runs from within my house and I use it for development, and I use Samba to access my files. I currently sync my Web projects using Dropbox. I'm unsure how to go about this. I don't know whether I should play with permissions and use a symlink, or if it's safe for me to directly edit the vhosts file for my subdomain so that Apache looks in my Dropbox for the files, as I don't want to break ISPConfig. I think that messing with permissions is likely to cause problems, as my user account is not one that's recognised by ISPConfig. My main problem is that I also use my server as a file server, and Windows will only allow me to add any given network location once. There are many ways of doing this, but I'm unsure of the best way to do it. I would appreciate any suggestions anyone might have about how to get this working. Many thanks in advance.
