After my initial installation of Kbuntu v. 9.04 and full upgrade to v. 9.10 (Karmic Koala), the Taskbar (?) on the bottom of the screen was displayed on one line with the first first digit of the time [BNOT[/B] displayed!! The round toothed circle I used to update to version 9.10 was also missing. I am a total newbie to Linux itself, so I am just starting my learning curve and would appreciate any help I could get with my numerous questions. And yes, I DO read the FAQ and (R)TFM before asking any questions. craig48
