I want to test how to set up Mail server with ispconfig. Can it be done with no online connection? I had everything installed. But cannot send mail out. Can I replace the domain with ip number? like [email protected]
If you add the domain name into the hosts file so that the domain will point to your server you can log on to the web mail client in ISPC and send a test mail. It would be better if you added two domains into the hosts file and then you could send mail from one domain to another.
