I've got X-cart on my server as well as phpBB. I keep getting errors when having phpBB use the internal mail program so I told phpBB to use my ISP's SMTP server and I haven't had issues. Now, I don't have that option in X-cart and I haven't been getting e-mails about the orders people have made. How can I test sendmail and get it working correctly? I followed the FC5 tutorial without a single issue. So, I'm a little stumped here.
can you tell us what the errors are, or can you tail the /var/log/maillog incase there's errors there from the mail server..etc. anything we can work on?
Hmm, well maybe nevermind. Every other account on my server was sending and receiving mail just fine except for one account. I deleted the account from ISPconfig and emptied the recycle bin and re-created the account and it didn't work. So, I just made an account with a different name and it seems to be working fine. Weird.
