WOW ISP config is great its so amazing i'm so pleased with it, and your tutorials are great EVERYTHING IS WORKING im so pleased with this you guys are the best!!! I just have one last question what is the ftp host for clients? say i had the client alexserver.redirectme.net what ftp wouldf they connect to? Thanks again, this is amazing stuff!! if the FTP server is on the same IP as "alexserver.redirectme.net", than use that as FTP address. So the address would be: ftp://alexserver.redirectme.net/
with the username (web#nr#_#name#) and password that you created under ISP Manager #domain# > User & Email (its the same data as used for email)
with a standard install of ISPconfig it would be something like web1_test The 1 could also be an other nr, depeding on the sites/domains on the server. Login on the admin, and have a look at the domain and User & Email what the nr is just behind the web part.
I have the user test with domain alexserver.redirectme.net on web1 i have tryed to login using the folowing deatils but i get an error 503 - login details incorrect. This is the information i used to login: HOST: ftp://myserver.com USER: web1_test PASSWORD: ****** Please could you tell me what i am doing wrong IO know the ftp server works as i set allow anoymouse on and i could see the anomyouse directory. I GOT IT WORKING sorry i didnt realize i had to create a user for it i thought the users were just email accounts its all working now!! Thanks alot for your help edge !!
