The NIC is down

    The NIC eth0 is not up when I used the command ifconfig -a

    Great. Should it be up?
    One of these commands will bring the interface up:
    Code:
    ifconfig eth0 up

ip link set dev eth0 up
    If the interface went down unexpectedly, you might want to check logs/hardware/network.
