Good day, i just did a fresh install for Ubuntu Server 10.10 using the tutorial - The Perfect Server - Ubuntu 10.10 [ISPConfig 3] I created a domain on ISPCONFIG and entered the DNS settings for my server when i point my browser to my ip/dns address it shows It works! This is the default web page for this server. The web server software is running but no content has been added, yet. But When i point my browser to my domain on the server http://[ip address]/mynewdomain.com I get a 403 FORBIDDEN you don't have permission to access /mynewdomain.com on this server. How do I resolve this?
Thats ok and shows that your server is working correctly. You can not access a website with such a URL by using the IP address, you have to use the Domain name as this are name based apache vhosts. To access the website mynewdomain.com, enter: http://mynewdomain.com in the browser.
