    Hi All,

I've got a major time problem on my server a fedora core 5 64bit. The time is faster then normal when i set my time to my local time its oke, but after 1 hour it is more faster than my normal clock and after a copple of days it is 1 day further.

Can some one help me ?

Is this a real server or a vserver? If It is a vmware virtual server, please install the vmware tools which will synchronize the time with the hardware clock.
If its not a vserver, you may use a program like ntpdate to synchronize your clock with a timeserver. Example:

    ntpdate pool.ntp.org

Thats not the solution it is not a vmware machine by the way. When i use ntpdate the time is good. But after a couple of minutes/hours/days the time is not good.

Then I guess it's a hardware problem with either your realtime clock or timer chip on the mainboard.
