/tmp filled after 2.2.27 upgrade

I upgraded to ISPConfig ver 2.2.27 last week and all seemed to go well.
Today I was optimizing my large vBulletin MySQL database and it got hung on the post table. The problem was that my /tmp was 100% full. The largest files I found in /tmp were the backup files left over from last week's ISPConfig upgrade. Once I deleted them I could optimize my MySQL databases without issue.

Should these files be manually deleted after each upgrade or are they supposed to automatically be deleted upon completion of the upgrade?

    Thanks!

No, they are not deleted automatically, you must do it manually (or keep the backups ;)).
