Hi all, some times i'm having a "Too many connections" message on my ISP panel, and when this message appear the website doesn't respond correctly, emails don't work, and so. You can solve it using Internet Search Engines with Code: mysql Too many connections Are those attempts to connect to database coming from your host? If they are from somewhere else, it would be good to deny database use from elsewhere, only allow form host itself and hosts you trust.
Set a higher value for max_connections and max_user_connections in the mysql/mariadb config, e.g. try to set them to 1000. The values need to be set in the [mysqld] section of the config file: max_connections = 1000 max_user_connections = 1000
The first thing I check it was if the Mysql port was blocked and there was not external connections. My problem is more with the limit that Mysql has as default "151", that is what i need to change.

Depends on your setup and Linux distribution. Search for the file in /etc/mysql/ or /etc/mariadb/ that contains the [mysqld] section of the config and then add it in that config section (means, somewhere below that line but before the next block.
Little detail I never said my linux distribution ,I'm using Debian 9 with the perfect installation guide. having said that, under /etc/... I don't have a mariadb folder so by deduction is in mysql , and looking in the files the one that has the section [mysqld] is called 50-server.cnf, and is placed under mariadb.conf.d So i assume is in that file where should i add those lines.
