Couldn't find much info on this in the manual. What exactly does
Tools - Import - ISPConfig 3 Mail do?

I'm setting up a brand new server and will be transferring all of the domains and users. The old server started as debian 5 updated to 6 and then 7. And also switched at one point from courier to dovecot.

There are a few quirks which I would not like to transfer over, like any spam filtering settings for example.

Does this only import the users and passwords? Also I'm assuming I will have to copy the roundcube database to retain any user contacts.

    Thanks in advance.

This function imports the configuration of email accounts from another ispconfig server trough the remote api. it does not import the email data (emails).

If I have a multiserver setup, what steps do I have to take?

Create all the clients first, or can I assign the mail accounts and domains later on?
Also, do I have to setup the servers first, or can I as well assign them later on?

    Kind Regards
