ISPConfig analyzes the logfiles and creates the mail statistics by report emails sent to the admispconfig user from the procmail recipes. You can not use the traffic stats from a monitoring program or firewall, as these applications are not able to create statisti´cs based on the domain name of a request, they only report based on IP.
