Hey folks, Is there an easy way to transfer settings from an old ubuntu server to a new server install? My old system is failing and I need to move everything to the new system but I'm unsure of exactly how to do this and maintain a stable system. Thanks very much in advance!
What exactly is failing? The hardware, or do you have problems with the software? If it's just the hardware, you could create an image of your installation (e.g. with SystemImager or Ghost4Linux) and install it on the new server.
