I'm fairly new to linux, but I have managed to set up a working suse 10.1 server using the suse 10.1 perfect setup from this site. Everything works great with one exception; sending emails to external email addresses. My isp blocks outgoing emails from servers on "residential class" connections, and the workaround is to route outgoing emails through their smtp server. I have done this in the past using mailenable on a windows box and it worked fine. For this instance, I tried this: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1594&postcount=18 but it didn't work for me. I've been google-ing my problem like a madman for the past few weeks to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions for ways to have postfix route my outgoing emails through my isp's smtp server (aside from setting up my email client to do it, as that does not help when using the webmail interface) Any help would be much appreciated! *EDIT!!!!* Nevermind! got it!
