Please remove the space in front of: submission inet n - - - - smtpd and smtps inet n - - - - smtpd restart postfix.

Look good so far. Try to configure a email address on a email client and send a mail. In this time keep an eye on logs and post something that seems like an error.
mail fixed Ghostdare, Thanks so much for the help. Not that it matters but a little background on why I re-imaged my machine. I had 3 (3TB) drives in a raid 5 array with all my movies and other stuff on them. A few weeks back 2 drives failed and I lost everything. It would have been caught if I had been monitoring the emails that were sent to system root. But since I never saw the first drive fail, I was up S**t creek. With your help, I now have mail working and my test from mdadm has sent an email to my regular email address: mdadm --monitor /dev/md127 --test Thanks again, and have a happy Christmas, Holiday, or whatever you celebrate. -Deja
