Hello all, I found the howto for ubuntu 20, ispconfig 3.2 and asking me, what is happened with xmpp? For the moment Im still on ubuntu 18 with disabled xmpp, cause metronome was not running at my site. For a long time it seems that the metronome project is not under develpment. I did a new look and there is an actually project site. But I dont want to use it cause they use telnet!!! for admin environment. Buh! I dont have trust to that project. My questions are: what xmpp server can I use under ubuntu 20 and ispconfig 3.2? How to configure it? Is prosody possible? Tia Stefan
There was some work on Prosody support before, but if I recall correctly it is not included in the develop branch, so currently not supported. So, afaik, XMPP is currently not working with ISPConfig. (disclaimer: I don't use it myself nor have I tried to do so)
