Ubuntu desktop 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon

I installed Ubuntu 7.04 Fiesty fawn and it went successfully in a text mode only and then I upgraded it to Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon and it also went successfully and now I want to install the GUI or Desktop without going thru the partitioning and formatting of the hard disk. How can I go about doing this......
