My goal is to get my logs into a DB so I can then query and make some
    simplified reports for the office.
These reports will include other queries related to civicrm reports etc.
So I would like to have all info in a DB so that I can make one office specific report.
    Thanks

Do you see the module when you run
    Code:
    apt-cache search apache
    ?

    No...

    this is what I get.
libapache2-mod-auth-mysql - Apache 2 module for MySQL authentication
libapache2-mod-auth-pgsql - Module for Apache2 which provides pgsql authentication
fibusql - Web based double-entry accounting
libapache-mod-acct-mysql - Accounting module for Apache, mysql version
libapache-mod-acct-pgsql - Accounting module for Apache, postgresql version
libapache-mod-auth-pgsql - Apache module for PostgreSQL authentication
pure-ftpd-mysql - Pure-FTPd FTP server with MySQL user authentication
pure-ftpd-postgresql - Pure-FTPd FTP server with PostgreSQL user authentication
proftpd-mysql - Versatile, virtual-hosting FTP daemon (dummy transitional package)
proftpd-pgsql - Versatile, virtual-hosting FTP daemon (dummy transitional package)

    FYI
I am running apache2 so not sure?
    Notice the grep too.
