Introductions first, my name is Joaquin and I'm pretty much a noob when it come to linux, but I'm learning to love it.. So my question and what I'm trying to do here: Well I have a pc that I have ubuntu server 11.10 installed on it. I want to turn that server into a media server that would store and stream movies, audio, and pdf's. Can anyone point me in the right directions of any howtos or possible spread the knowledge on what packages ill need to install to accomplish my task at hand? I've searched google, but have only found info pertaining to ubuntu desktop editions not the server.
