Hey all, or shall I say falko, (wish a knew all you did dude) I just installed 8.10 with ispconfig 3 using your tutorial. All seems great. My question is this:

What is the easiest way to have emails once checked for spam and viruses forwarded off to an exchange server. I really don't want to setup the pop3connector on the exchange box.

    Thanks,

After poking around in the lovely ispconfig 3, I found "email routing" could that accomplish what I want to do?

Yes, that's what you need. :)

Great, I went ahead ans tried it last night, it does work by forwarding to a matching exchange account which is great. However, I'm not quite sure it is being checked for spam and viruses before forwarding off, can you confirm that it is supposed to check for those then forward, or is it just forwarding with no checks?

Ok, I was able to check the headers of an email finally, It seems it is checking but it is not changing the subject like it does in ispconfig2.

    Code:

ha, i just keep answering my own questions...gotta love it...I found where you need to edit the policy to mod the subject to what we want..does it have the option to just blast the spam out so the user does not get it? I kinda see how we can modify how it get tagged and set the score, etc...my question is what does it all mean. keep messing with the settings but cannot figure it out....

Unfortunately this isn't possible in the web interface yet. You must modify the amavisd configuration and change the FINAL_SPAM_DESTINY parameter.
