Hi everyone! I am using a virtual machine to practice Ubuntu commands for a beginner's Linux class. I was wondering if anyone has had problems with saving work in their Ubuntu Virtual Machine, and if there was a way to solve this; or if it "refreshes" after exiting and powering off the VM. Thanks!
I would assume the viritual machine works like a "normal" machine, that is saving your work in a file works as usual. Have you tried shutting down and rebooting the virtual machine? Were your saved work files gone, or could you still see and access them? If you want more advice, please find out which virtual machine application you are using and tell it on this thread.
