hello, I just set up a new domain on my server and found severall errors like this in my logfiles: I modified the error, took out my real name. riverseaserv.com is the new domain I host. what exactly could be the problem here?
When you created your certificate and you were prompted for the "Common Name", you entered your name, but you should have entered mail.riverseaserv.com. The "Common Name" is always an FQDN.
ahhh... maybe ;-) BUT I serve mails for a lot of domains, and all use mail.domain.com so usually for the certificate which is generated when installing/upgrading ispconfig I use my primary domain data so it should give me these errors for all domains,..... I partially found the error: when I set up riverseaserv.com I forgot to set up mail.riverseaserv.com as a subdomain and it seems that was causing these complains...
