Hi there. I've finally been able to setup my CentOS ISPconfig and i'm able to receive mail straight to Squirrelmail and i'm also able to setup the e-mail on my BlackBerry! But... It won't deliver mail without it being returned. I tried to send an e-mail to a hotmail address and received this e-mail... Code: This is the mail system at host <server1.example.com>. I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below. For further assistance, please send mail to <postmaster> If you do so, please include this problem report. You can delete your own text from the attached returned message. The mail system <@hotmail.co.uk>: host mx2.hotmail.com[65.55.37.72] said: 550 DY-001 Unfortunately, messages from 94.194.109.151 weren't sent. Please contact your Internet service provider. You can tell them that Hotmail does not relay dynamically-assigned IP ranges. You can also refer your provider to http://mail.live.com/mail/troubleshooting.aspx#errors. (in reply to MAIL FROM command) I'm not sure what this all means... it's working fine everywhere else but need to overcome this little issue! Many thanks Ash
Just to add to the post... I also have a dynamic IP address unfortunately so I am using dnsExit to help me keep all my IP address syncd with the DNS records. I hope this helps! Thanks
Dynamic IP addresses are blacklisted, that's why Hotmail didn't accept the mail. You need to relay through another server: http://www.howtoforge.com/postfix_relaying_through_another_mailserver
