unbuntu 8.04 server

    hey i was wondering if anyone could help,

    im about to install ubuntu 8.04 server following the perfect server howto.

    when it refers to the internet gateway does it mean the gateway ip of my isp or the gateway ip of my router?

    It refers to the gateway IP of the machine,on which Ubuntu is installed on.
    If it's behind a router then the gateway IP is the router's IP address.
