"update" from 2.3.1 to 2.2.27

Hello,

i have performed an update of ispconfig from 2.3.1 to 2.2.27, it works so far, but now i miss some features that are normally in 2.2.27 like for example: under emailaccounts spamfilter & antivirus I miss tick-box for URIBL and whitelist and blacklist

and something very strange happens - when i create new users they get a shell "/dev/null" instead of "/bin/false" in /etc/passwd

how can i fix that?

I don't think that you can "upgrade" from 2.3.1 to 2.2.27, and I think that this is the problem...

 

So what will be the solution here - migrate again to dev release - 2.3.4 ?

The solution is to install the stable version right from the beginning instead of the dev version. You can't upgrade from dev to stable or from stable to dev.
