    Update from 2.2.12 to 2.2.19

    Hi

I run in to a problem updating from 2.2.12 to 2.2.19.
I'm using the wonderfull VMWare ISPConfig Virtual Machine (VM).
It has lately had problems with Clam Anti Virus and when I tried to update the ISPConfig it failed with error...
I had to recreate the folder /root/ispconfig and restore it with recent backup.
Event trough all these problems all websites and mail worked fine. :)

But I still need to update the ISPConfig!

How can I update the PHP to version that is acceptable to ISPConfig?

There must have been other errors before the one you posted. Please post the full error output.

The first error comes right after the deletion of ispconfig directory?

    Tue Jan 8 23:01:12 EET 2008 - [ISPConfig] - deleted directory /root/ispconfig/
Tue Jan 8 23:36:48 EET 2008 - [ISPConfig] - WARNING: could not unpack ISPConfig system
Tue Jan 8 23:36:55 EET 2008 - [ISPConfig] - ERROR: The PHP binary coming with ISPConfig does not work properly on your system! The installation routine stops here!

The errors are not logged to this file. Please post the errors that appeared on the screen.

Before you run the setup script again, run:

    mkdir /root/ispconfig

    Also post the output of:

    df -h

Plenty of room on the drives. That is not the problem.

I was using "screen" while I updated and for some reason it only showed me few lines of history.

Is the setup errors logged to some other file?

    No.

If you use an SSH client such as PuTTY, you can scroll back to where the errors started.
