Hello, I am changing all my passwords on the "Perfect" Ubuntu 12.40 server that I have running ISPConfig 3. My question is this: if I change the root MySQL password (because I just realised that it is really not that strong), where else and how should I enter it? I mean what of the other services (Mail, Apache, etc) need it in order to work properly? Thanks in advance!
No other service uses the mysql root password. Just ispconfig has it in /usr/local/ispconfig/server/lib/mysql_clientdb.conf as ispconfig has to be able to create mysql databases for your websites.
