Hai! PMA displays "A newer version of phpMyAdmin is available and you should consider upgrading. The newest version is 4.9.7, released on 2020-10-15." on login. It's not updated/-graded on "apt-get update/-grade", so: Is this one easy to update/-grade? Should I just run an upgrade tutorial? Will this throw me any errors with ISPC? (I know PMA is more like a separate tool and not really deeply linked up with ISPC, but I don't want to jump without at least asking and making sure there's no sea lions... (which eat penguins => linux).
If I am not mistaken, in debian 10 tutorial, there is a guide to manually install PMA to use mainstream PMA. You will need to remove the one install using apt or apt-get first, though it is also possible to use the latest on top of it but it is not advisable on my point of view.
Latest phpMyadmin is in backports for Debian, it works perfectly fine to use that instead of manually install every time. You might need to fix 1 or 2 lines in config first run.
