hello how do I update proftpd? I have ispconfig installed and see proftpd issued an update because of a security issue, so i tried to upgrade update it said it added new packages but when i check the proftpd -v it still is 1.3.0. and not 1.3.2. how do i update this without breaking the configuration in ispconfig.. thanks for any help
proftpd is already updated ony our setup if you installed the updates from etch. Debian is patching packages to remove security issues instead of installing new versions, so the version number does not change.
