My company currently running CentOS 5.0 on a virtual Xen host with the latest version of ISPConfig installed. Is it safe to upgrade to CentOS 5.1 via yum without effecting ISPConfig? This virtual host is a production server.
Upgrading of the linux distribution should normally not affect ISPConfig. I've done this several times for debian but I never tried it on Centos. After a upgrade, you should go trough the perfect setup guide for the new cetos version and compare the config files with your upgraded setup to make sure everything is in place. Maybe someone who did this upgarde on centos can give you a more detailed answer.
