Hello everyone! long time huh? which means that I've had no issues with any of my servers, or maybe some minor ones that I've solved myself. So I guess 'no news is good news'. Now, I have an old mail server (built using Falco's 'Virtual Users And Domains With Postfix, Courier And MySQL (Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy Eft)') that I need to upgrade to 8.10. Is there a guide to follow? Any Ideas on how to get a full backup first? All this (backup & pgrade) is to be done remotely through ssh BTW.
You can make a backup with SystemImager or Ghost4Linux. Afterwards, you must upgrade step by step, i.e., from 6.10 to 7.04, from 7.04 to 7.10, and so on.
