Hey, I have updated to version to 2.2.21 and now my db_ispconfig database is empty!! Please can someone help, all my sites are still working etc, Yes I should of backed up the database before, but I didn't!!! Any ideas? Many Thanks Chris.
Just seen the backups in the tmp directory, if I copy the database out of this and add it back into my live server should this work?
You must restore all the backups in /tmp, i.e., not only the database dump, but also the /root/ispconfig and /home/admispconfig directories. Did you modify your database (e.g. by using the ISPConfig form editor) prior to the upgrade? Any errors in the installation log in /var/log?
Hey, Umm I havn't made any changes to the database before the update, was just a straight and normal install of ISPconfig. Is there a process for rolling back? Would like to just point out to anyone that is looking at using ISPconfig that this is the first issue that I have ran into for well over a year, and I am sure its something I did. Not sure how, but don't let this put you off. Many Thanks
Yes. As Falko posted above, you must restore the backups to the directories that Falko named above. 1) Copy the mysql database back. 2) Copy the two other tar.gz files to / and unpack them with tar xvfz filename.tar.gz
