    Hi there

here is the output from the latest lines from .setup:

    All prerequisites are fulfilled.
    Here we go...

    Restarting some services...
    which: no apachectl in (/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/sbin:/root/bin:/usr/local/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/usr/local/libexec)

ISPConfig system is now up and running!
Congratulations! Your ISPConfig system is now installed. If you had to install quota, please take the steps described in the installation manual. Otherwise your system is now available without reboot.

can anyone figure what went wrong...
    cheers

Please make sure that the mysql root password does not contain special chars.

Before you try the update again, run the command:

    mkdir /root/ispconfig

    Solved

    Hi all

figured out a way to solve my problem, finally.

    1) moved /root/ispconfig to /root/ispconfig_crap

    2) rerun /.setup

    3) reused old settings for mysql and used the old db

    4) rerun ./setup, since i looked like i was missing some features of 2.2.25 when i logged in to ispconfig (stuff like cron job check box)

    5) finished setup, and now everything look sweet again
