Hi, i seem to have encountered a problem with ISPConfig or maybe FTP.

The other day the Ubuntu Server with ISPConfig system worked fine then all of a sudden it will not let me chmod files, i get a returned error saying "file does not exist" or "I dont have permission" even with "su", and the ISPConfig web-ftp.

The only way i can get around this is to keep creating a new user with shell and admin privledges, then it will work for a short time then stop again.

Any ideas how to fix this as its a bit of a pain.

    Thanks.

    "Update"

I have found that i dont need to re-create a user. It seems the admin user for "a" domain just loses admin privledges.
