    Hi,

I am considering using ISPCOnfig 3 as a server administrator for some of my virtual linux servers (they are not set up yet, so I can pretty much design my system as I like).

I see that the only thing ISPC3 does not support is Samba, so I have to fix that some other way (webmin perhaps).

    Has anyone else done this?

If so, anything I should consider doing before installing ISPC3?

ISPConfig is a hosting control panel. Samba is a service normally used as fileserver for internal company networks and not used on hosting systems, so ISPConfig does and shall not support Samba.

You can install samba on a ispconfig server as long as you dont replace normallinux system users with ldap on the system.
