I installed pure-ftpd on debian. after a lot of search i was able to get it to work!! But here is my problem. in our organization we have a windows 2008 domain and we have a shred folder on it (ftp). i mounted that shared folder into my debian with domain administrator account and configured it to be mounted on each reboot. i added user abyek to pureftp and set the default directory to the mounted folder.(/mnt/ftp/abyek). now i'm able to connect to ftp and download data using abyek user. but i cannot upload or delete! please help me. on ftp folder we have multiple sub-directories which we have to define users for each sub-folder and an admin user to access The ftp folder and sub-folders. how should i manage the permissions?
