Does ISPConfig3 allow users to change their own email account password out of the box? If not, since Squirrelmail is installed as a webmail client, is it possible to use the change_sqlpass Squirrelmail plugin to allow users to change their own passwords? On my current production server, which is non-ISPConfig, I had followed the HowTo below which installed the change_sqlpass plugin. I am thinking about adopting the HowTo to my new Debian Lenny Perfect Server setup. http://www.howtoforge.com/virtual-users-domains-postfix-courier-mysql-squirrelmail-ubuntu8.04
Thanks Till. The link you provided links right back to the How To Forge. Here is the direct link in case anyone is looking to save a step in the future. http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35297 I took a couple of additional steps in the database. I create a new user that only had the ability to select and update the email and password fields within the email_user table.
