Is it possible to change the user ftp path to var/www/web#/web/some folder
so the user dont login directly to his web root?

Im asking because i have a user that runs a joomla based website and he want to let some users be able to ftp their way in and upload files directly to a specific folder on his site but he dont want them to gain access to the web root.
I thinking if he creates a user then the user will have a folder created in /user/web#_username, is it possible to change that users folder to inside the /web/some folder.

No, the path can not be changed. But you can create a linux system user with a different home directory manually and use this to login to a specific directory.
