Dear Sir, I am follow the tutorial of "Virtual Users And Domains With Postfix, Courier, MySQL And SquirrelMail (Ubuntu 8.04 LTS)" for my postfix server setup. My postfix server is using the fetchmail tool to catch the mail from my ISP, and under my postfix server is actually having 30 users account but i having another 25 external users account which is in my ISP. My problem is: 1. If i add the all users in my virtual mail account, is working fine for both sending and receiving. But if i only add the 30 users account and i didn't add that 25 external users account in the server, the 30 users was unable to sending the mail to another 25 users, it will show the error message of "User unknown in virtual mailbox table". 2. May i know is that any configuration that i no need to create that 25users account in my virtual mailbox table ? I appreciate for the reply as i was headache for this issue few week and not able to figure the correct way for the configuration. Regards Chin
Ehm, so you have 25 external mailboxes, that you fetchmail, and spread across your 30 internal accounts? Now if you don't add the fetchmail accounts, but only your 30 internal users those 30 accounts don't work? Could you elaborate a bit more?
