hi, for my domain mydomain.tld I've got several email-adresses. Some are using g-suite and some are running locally on my postfix-server. from all external domains sending to each of the mentioned mail addresses is working fine. but when I want to send a mail from [email protected], which is hosted on the same ispconfig-server, I always get the error message: "Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table" setup I did so far: >> host mydomain.tld gives me: anything I missed? thx for your help
You can not have some mailboxes locally and some remotely as the system will treat all addresses of an email domain on the server as local addresses. Either add a domain as email domain with local addresses or att it as transport with relay recipients, you can not do both at the same time as a local email domain will override the transport and that's why you get the mailbox not found errors.
