    Hi Guy's,

Is it possible to set up the ISPConfig Panel fully functioning without a static IP? Could you use a DNS that points to the external IP?

    Thanks

Yes, you could use a dynamic dns name to access your panel. Set all websites to use '*' as the IP address and they should be accessible as well. You'll likely use CNAME records for all your subdomain names, eg. www, so those stay updated. You do have a problem with the address of the domains themselves when using ISPConfig as your DNS server (part of "fully functioning"), as it does not currently support DNAME records. Probably you'll need to write a little script that keeps checking your current IP address and updates DNS records as needed. Incoming mail can point MX records to your dynamic name; outgoing email is always problematic on dynamic addresses, but there's nothing inherent to the address changing that comes into play there except maybe ensuring your SPF records remain updated with your address monitoring/DNS updating mentioned above.
