Hey, hey, whaddayaknow... along with being a newb, I'm also an idiot... got the the Virtualbox thing working, but would still be interested in any advice on other options than Virtualbox if they might be more efficient... so if someone wants to move this thread to somewhere more appropriate, that'd be cool... I'm very new to this whole Linux deal, so please be patient with my "newbness." I am running Mint 8 and I've installed Virtualbox 3.0, but I'm a bit lost on how to actually use it. I am wanting to use Windows XP alongside the Linux OS due to a minor addiction to some of my Windows games that don't seem to get along real well with Linux. So any advice on using Virtualbox would be great and I'm also open to other ideas on how to accomplish wanting I am wanting to do. Thanks.
VirtualBox is a very good choice for desktop virtualization, so you can stick with that. Another good solution is VMware Server.
