UTF8 Domain Name: DNS and Site Support

Discussion in 'General' started by Ignacio Garcia, Jun 3, 2019.

  1. Hi there.

I just got a new customer who has a site with a non-ascii, utf8 character in its domain name. He's got a domain.tld and a domaiñ.tld. He wants to transfer its site to our hosting services. Basically we must host domain.tld, create an alias domain (I suppose) for domaiñ.tld pointing to domain.tld, and both domains' dns' primary and secondary zones.

I've never had a case like this before. Does ispconfig fully support this scenario? Are there any facts that I should take into account to proper configure these?

    TIA,

    Ignacio

ISPConfig supports that out of the box, just add the domain as usual.
