Hi, I use this Virtual Users And Domains With Postfix, Courier, MySQL And SquirrelMail (Ubuntu 12.04 LTS) ..and It is absolutely great, but I need something to tweak. I and I think more other people need support in vacation/auto-reply plugin in squirrelmail. I tried every Vacation plugin in squirrel online repository, but no one is working. I connect them to ftp, mysql etc. but I stuck on /usr/bin/vacation which tells me that some email doesnt exist (and this is right - because I dont use transport hash:/somewhere-local...) My question is. Is there any chance to use vacation or yaa working directly with virtual users iny mysql or some trick to hash virtual users localy? I need to give end users chance to set if they are AFK for longer time. Is the Postfix Admin only solution?
The above setup cant do it, as vacation messages wont work out f the mysql database. but you can do that e,g, with ispconfig (see perfect server guides). ispconfig uses a postfix virtual user setup combined with dovecot to configure mailboxes with autoresponders and sieve filter rules.
I'm using courier and I'm not fan of ISPConfig3 :-/ I'will try it, but I have worries about mess from ISPConfig3 conf etc. Is there any chance tht postfix admin will also work with virtual users?
