    Okay don't laugh ;)
I have ISPConfig 2.1.2 running on my SUSE 9.3 build.
Anything i should know to upgrade to ISPCONFIG 2.2.6?

Anything i should backup or need to do special?
Will it be okay going from 2.1.2 straight to 2.2.6?

    Thanks!

The upgrade should go fine the only difference you could have is if you had 64bit version, as the new ispconfig install does everything for you.

If this is a live server you are installing to (ie you have customers) it could be a good idea to backup all your client data and your current ispconfig install before you update

What is the best way/method of backing up all that you mention as yes it is a live server.

Also in the even i had an issue based on your recommened way of backing up what is the the best way to restore the backups?

Make a backup of the directories /root/ispconfig, /home/admispconfig and the ISPConfig mysql database. In case anything goes wrong during the update, just restore the backups.
