Very Importan! Mail Autentication Error

    HEEEEEELP,
    Suddenly mail server go crazy, dont authenticate the users, any user, saying its a login error but even when I change the pass, its still happends, I dont know what can be the problem!! any idea??????

    PLEASE ITS URGENT!

    Sorry I forgot to tell, this happens in the POP server!, the shadow file seems to be allright

    More data, I found the error but I don't know why happens, all the passwords in the shadow file gone blank. I revered from a backup and now I have less error, although I still have in one domain in particular, the problem seems to solve changing the pass.

    Any one have any idea why this happen?

    Please check the syntax of the passwd and shadow file with the command:

    pwck

    Thanks till I did it and now all seems to be ok, but I still dont know why this happened to prevent will happen again. Anyone have an idea?
