Dear Couleagues, Have you tried and tested the new ISPC 3.2/3.2.1 on a Debian 10 (without testing)? Can we follow the installation path of 3.1 and on the end, just install the ISPC 3.2.1, or is at first an Debian 10 testing updated and with all versions of software to be installed in the perfect server needed? I would like to install clean first, adjust, IPT, F2B and all net/mail settings and then to migrate one by one my website and mails from ISPC 3.1 Thanks for the help, best regards to all
Why post here instead of looking at the release notes yourself? https://www.ispconfig.org/blog/ispconfig-3-2-1-released/ Quote: Supported Linux Distributions Debian 9 – 10 and Debian testing (recommended) Ubuntu 16.04 — LTS – 20.04 LTS (recommended) CentOS 7 – 8 as you can see, it's even recommended to use Debian 10. And the installation instructions have not changed for 3.2
Dear Till, Thank you for the express answer. This is exactly why i posted here and ask from our colleagues about their personal experience. As i saw that there is not an updated perfect server tutorial with Debian 10 and ISPC3.2 (but Centos 8 and Ubuntu 20.4 where already posted) and also in the Debian 10 recommendation there is "testing", i assumed that the regular Debian 10 main version is not suitable for ISPC 3.2. I also went thru all possible bugs and solutions but they were mainly for other distros, so that's why i asked in this channel. Believe me, with this positive information of yours, it would be more encouraging for everybody to install it without fear Best Regards
That's why we gave that information in the release notes And as a side note, Debian testing is the name of a Debian release range. We support Debian 9, Debian 10 and Debian testing.
